At 4000 meters above sea level, Amet Gogo was a sight to behold. Not to mention we were standing in the middle of a herd of gelada baboons. Incredible experience!
This guy from Holland was on his way from Dubai to Capetown when he hit a cow going 75mph...on a motorcycle! He slid 100yds, popped up like nothing happened, and lit a cigarette. That's him on the right, calm as can be. 3000Birr later and after a lot of discussion with a distraught young herder, we helped them settle everything and helped them on their way.
